■自己紹介をお願いします

ガブリエルです。生まれも育ちも、そして今も主にアルゼンチンのブエノスアイレスに住んでいます。これまでにブラジル、エクアドル、ペルー、コロンビアなど南米の国々、そしてフランス領ポリネシア・タヒチでも暮らした経験があり、どれも楽しく貴重な時間でした。年齢は現在30代の後半です。

BMXは1996年頃から乗り始めました。近所をただ楽しむために乗り始めましたが、それ以来今日まで一度もBMXを乗ることをやめたことはありません。自分にとってBMXは、想像を超えて素晴らしい経験になっています。

■素晴らしい映像とメッセージを送ってくれてありがとう！まずMOTO-BUNKAのことは、どうやって知りましたか？

素晴らしい繋がりをありがとう。僕が MOTO-BUNKAを知ったのは、アルゼンチンでは、僕たちが独立系でクリエイティブ、そしてライダー自身が運営するメディアを応援しているからです。

MOTO-BUNKAもまさにその例外ではなく、このカルチャーを広める姿勢には大きな情熱と献身が感じられ、その視点がいつも素晴らしいと思っています。ブエノスアイレスでは、ライディング後にみんなで集まってBMX映像を観たり、食事をしたり、楽しい時間を日常的に過ごしたりしています。MBはいつも観ていて楽しいですね。

僕がMB知るきっかけはHorivideo経由だったと思います。特に @daisuke_mb のパートは必見。

■MOTO-BUNKAがあなたのBMXライフに良い影響を与えているとおっしゃっていました。それは私たちにとって大きな意味があります。正直なところ、私たちはただ前に進み、BMXシーンに必要なものを作るために挑戦を続けているだけです。MOTO-BUNKAのどんな部分があなたに最も響いていますか？

皆さんは本当に素晴らしいです。時間が経つにつれて、ライダーにインスピレーションを与え、モチベーションや良い思い出を作っていく姿は本当に尊敬します。楽しい時間を作ること、それはとても価値があることです。

あなたたちが作る映像は、スポット、音楽、ライディングを含めて本当に素晴らしいです。これからもずっとMBであり続けてほしいと願っています。

■アルゼンチンから見て、日本のBMXシーンはどう映りますか？

カッコいいライダーたちが完璧なスポットで素晴らしいセッションをしている。最高のBMXシーンですね。日本の皆さんこそ「HD（ハイ・デフィニション）」という言葉の本当のパイオニアだと自信を持って言えます。

■あなたの映像について伺いたいと思います。制作のきっかけは何ですか？また、この作品を通じて伝えたいメッセージはありますか？

さまざまな日で撮影したスポット、音楽、状況、ライディングを組み合わせた映像クリップは観ていて楽しいです。行きたいと思っていたスポットや、自転車で挑戦する価値のある課題も見つけました。
メッセージ：アルゼンチンと日本はひとつ。MBとこのクリップを共有できることは自分にとって光栄です。本当にありがとうございます。

■アルゼンチンのBMXシーンについて教えてください。また、クレジットにあった@overitbmxがとてもクールなクルーに見えました。彼らについて詳しく教えてもらえますか？

@overitbmxは2006年にアルゼンチンで始まったBMXのマルチメディアスペースです。これまでに、国内外の限定版ビデオDVDをおよそ5本制作しています。最新の映像はDigbmxマガジンで公開されています。

■ Please introduce yourself—your name, age, where you live, and your BMX history.

Gabriel, born, raised and living mostly in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I’m fortunate and experienced to have lived in other South American countries such as Brazil, Ecuador, Peru and Colombia. Also in French Polynesia, Tahiti, which was a fun, long experience in the middle of the ocean among other destinations. I’m over +30 years old and have been riding BMX since 1996, when I started riding in the neighborhood simply for fun. Since then, I haven’t stopped until today. It exceeded all my expectations, haha.

■Thank you for sending us such an amazing video! Before we talk about it, we’re curious. How did you first come across MOTO-BUNKA, Japan’s BMX media?

Thanks for the great connection, friends. I discovered Moto-Bunka because in Argentina we also support independent, creative, and own-riders media. Moto-Bunka is no exception; you can see a great dedication and enthusiasm in how you promote the sport, and your perspective is excellent. In Buenos Aires, we also got together post-session to watch some BMX videos, have dinner, and have a good time. MB is always fun to watch. ■In your message, you mentioned that MOTO-BUNKA has had a positive impact on your BMX life. That truly means a lot to us. Honestly, we’re just pushing forward, challenging ourselves to create what we believe the BMX scene needs. So, we’d love to know—what aspects of MOTO-BUNKA resonate with you the most?

Yes, you guys are great because over time, it’s admirable how you inspire bikers and create motivations and good memories. A good time. That’s very valuable.
The videos you compile are excellent, along with the spots, music, and riding. I just hope you continue being MB for many more years.

■From Argentina, how do you see the BMX scene in Japan?

Cool guys riding perfect spots and having a good sessions. An excellent bmx scene, I dare to tell you that you in Japan are the true pioneers of the term HD (high-definition).

■Let’s talk about your video. What led you to create it? Is there a message you want to share through this piece?

I find it entertaining to watch video clips that combine spots, music, situations, and riding from different days. I also found spots I’d been meaning to visit and some challenges that are always good to accomplish on a bike.
A message: Argentina and Japan united. Sharing this clip with MB is a privilege for me. Thank you very much.

■Tell us about the BMX scene in Argentina. We also noticed @overitbmx in the credits. They seem like a really cool crew. Can you share more about them?

@overitbmx started in 2006 as a multimedia BMX space in Argentina. Over the years, it has produced approximately five limited-edition national and international video DVDs, among others.
